Nobody worried about nightlife during the playoffs.

Lillard knows that if his Trail Blazers are to compete for the Finals, they’re going to have to take down the Warriors. Obviously the Spurs and Rockets have strong teams as well, but at the end of the day, the Warriors’ talent is above everyone else.

The Jazz-Clippers came went seven games, and Utah was able to pull out a 104-91 victory on Sunday. One might think the Warriors’ players should be focusing on the game and not partying it up, but apparently it was a consensus that Los Angeles would be the better place to be.

“The problem with Utah is that you’re just sitting there and your mind is like dead because in L.A., you still got energy for the game,” Andre Iguodala said. “Because you’re in L.A., you’re like, ‘Man, this is just the vibe in L.A.’ but in Utah, it can kind of lull you to sleep.

“And then you’ve slept too long or I’m bored out of my Cheap Reversible Jerseys For Basketball mind and now you got to try to pump yourself up for the game. You know you’re in the playoffs and you’re supposed to be pumped anyway, but the vibe is just like, ‘Man, let’s just get out of here.'”

Iguodala did concede that L.A. did have a downside, since players could be out late in the morning and “that could lead to trouble.”

Leave it to Draymond Green, though, to keep things in perspective.

“It’s the playoff,” Green told ESPN. “Nobody worried about nightlife during the playoffs.”
