The NBA has fined Celtics’ point guard Isaiah Thomas $25,000 for an incident involving a Washington heckler during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals last week.
The situation in question was caught on video (note: link contains explicit language) as Thomas apparently says to someone in the crowd, I will f— you up and you know that.
The NBA announced Tuesday it was reviewing the incident. In Cheap Ice Hockey Jerseys announcing the fine, Kiki VanDeWeghe, the NBA’s executive vice president of basketball operations, cited Thomas for directing inappropriate language toward a fan.
Thomas did not have the best of nights in Game 3 as he went 3 of 8 shooting and scored just 13 points on Washington’s home floor and complained about the officiating after Boston’s loss. The Celtics guard had scored 53 points in Game 2.
Thomas followed up his Game 3 performance with 19 Cheap Ireland Football Jerseys points on 7 of 14 shooting in Game 4. Game 5 is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
Westbrook recognized the uniqueness of his accomplishments late in the regular season as he led the Thunder to the sixth-best record in the Western Conference in their first season without longtime running mate Kevin Durant. But asking him about his stats, following a loss, even if he went for 51 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, isn’t the move.
