Darrelle Revis won’t face NFL discipline after charges dismissed

Darrelle Revis is one step closer to getting back on the football field.

The veteran cornerback won’t face NFL discipline for violating the league’s personal conduct policy after a judge dismissed all the charges pending against him, ESPN reported Monday.

Banner said the Browns already “thought we knew” Sam was gay before his announcement was made.

“There’s always kind of rumors and stories and information out there,” Banner said. “In that case, it felt reliable.”

Banner said Sam’s sexual orientation was “meaningless” to the personnel evaluation compiled by his staff.
